Welcome to da Crackhead Record Review. My name is T-rock and I'll be your crackhead for da evenin.
All records are reviewed on a scale of 1 to 5 crack rocks.
Wax is judged by musical quality, cheapness, and if it will help
you to get a fine ho.
LFO - Brainstrom I EP
A rare copy of a 1990 LFO track pre-Warp days, and there is nothing fine honnies like
more than techno music with moaning chicks. I picked up diz track for $0.99.
I was amazed I got it so cheap... till I tried to play it and found a huge ass crack
sized scratch all the way down the A side. Funk that. Even with only one good side
this record ranks a solid 4 rocks.
Designer -I.Vandal(Brown Rice Mix) II.Larson(Final Phase)
I never heard of Designer before, but the record label had "soul" in the name so I
put down $2.99 for it. When I started to play it I thought my needle was broken; all
I heard were nasty sounding pops, clicks, and static. It took a minute, but soon that
noise flowed into tight abstract beats. This record is on par with any experimental
release I have heard. Even though it was kind of pricy I give it 5 rocks.
That's all I got for youz today, but next time I go pick up some lame '88 acid house,
indie experimental shit, or classic Mowtown recordings I'll let you know. Peace.
